Possibly 1947   Three Officers posing for a picture. On the right side of the photo is a black1946 or newer Chevrolet police car. In the background is possibly a 1947 white Chevrolet police car.  The picture was probably taken sometime in 1947. The Officer in the middle is probably Sgt. G. Newton.

1978   New 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury police cars sit in the parking lot of the Civic Center, waiting to be issued to officers. These cars were the first delivery of new cars for the implementation of the fleet car plan for Lubbock PD.  
         
After May 11, 1970   Officer Tom Smallwood is seen on duty in a devastated area of where a tornado struck Lubbock on May 11, 1970.
