The Lubbock Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Probationary Police Officer from now until August 1, 2008.  All applications must be received by Human Resources (1625 13th Street, Room 104) no later than 5:00 pm Friday August 1, 2008.  Applications will be accepted the day of the test.

Once an online application has been accepted you will automatically be registered for the entrance exam on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008. Accepted applicants will automatically receive an email with a confirmation number which you must bring to the entrance exam along with government issued photo Identification (example: Drivers License).

The LPD Entrance Exam will be given on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at the following cities at the listed locations: 1) the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, Texas 79401.  The test will begin promptly at 9:00 am and no one will be admitted into the testing area after this time.  You must present a state issued Driver's License and your application confirmation number at the time you check in for the exam.  Plan on arriving early for ample check in time.  For more information about the Lubbock Police Department Entrance Exam click here.

The LPD Physical Ability Test will be administered following the completion of the entrance exam.
