Apply with the Lubbock Police Department
The Lubbock Police Department will be accepting
applications for the position of Probationary Police
Officer from October 1, 2011 until January 13, 2012.
All applications must be received by Human Resources (1625 13th Street, Room 104) no later than 5:00 pm January 13, 2012.
Once an on-line application has been accepted you will automatically be registered for the entrance exam on
Saturday, January 14, 2012. Accepted applicants must bring, to the entrance
exam, a government issued photo identification (example: Driver's License).
The Lubbock Police Department Entrance Exam will be given on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the following listed locations:
- The Lubbock Memorial Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401;
The test will begin promptly at 9:00 am and no one will be
admitted into the testing area after this time.
You must present a state issued Driver's License at the time you check in for the exam. Plan on arriving early for ample check in time.

The Lubbock Police Department Physical Ability Test will be administered following the completion of the entrance exam.
