Personal History Statement
Candidates need to make the necessary arrangements to have the following certified documents available for submittal with their completed Personal History Packet:
- Birth Certificate
- Naturalization papers (if applicable)
- High School Transcript or G.E.D. Certificate
- College Transcripts
Notarized copies are NOT acceptable replacements for the above requested certified documents.
The Personal History Statement is DUE by November 12, 2010 at 5:00 pm.
The Personal History Statement may be brought to the Police Academy at Reese Center 508 Davis Drive during normal business
hours or mailed to PO Box 2000, Lubbock, Texas 79457.
The Personal History Statement will be accepted at anytime after notification of passing both the written entrance exam and the
physical ability test.
Any Personal History Statement received or post marked after November 12, 2010 will not be accepted and the applicant
will be removed from this hiring process.
